Data

Since 1993, we have marked hundreds of loons and studied them on their territories in northern Wisconsin. During this time we have accumulated a great deal of data on the loons themselves and their breeding activity. Much of what we have found is now published in the scientific or popular literature. But the records are interesting in their own right, as they show patterns of survival and reproductive success for individual loons that have remained on territories for long periods.
