Our study of loons depends upon the kindness and generosity of many friends, who permit us access to their property and often have useful information to share about the loons on their lakes. In recent years, some of these folks have contributed mightily to our work by reporting when breeding pairs return to their lakes in the spring and even writing down the colored leg bands they see on the birds’ legs.  Thanks, all of you, for your dedication to the project.
