Linda Grenzer is a sharp-eyed naturalist and photographer who quickly mastered the identification of loons from their color bands and has contributed a wealth of valuable field data to the project, including positive IDs of loons never seen before by the main LP team. Linda follows closely the breeding efforts of the pair on the lake where she resides and documents the pair’s reproductive milestones with her photos. In 2016, Linda joined the LP as a field researcher, and she is now helping us identify banded loons returning to study lakes — a tedious but crucial task! Finally, Linda is a gifted photographer, and has contributed greatly to this website by permitting us to use dozens of her photos.
